With materials of Cardboard, Styrofoam, Nescafé, Acrylic colors, me and my father built a replica of a roller that I have found near the “Beroe” running stadium, in my home city. In contrast to the original one — abandoned in the sand, heavy, and rusty metal object once used to iron the running tracks (for that purpose, adapted with draw-bars and bearing housings, attached through hexagonal screws) — this one is light and mobile, so it could be easily driven throughout the exhibition space. Its disfunction is further reinforced by the act of decontextualization of the roller, thus its insertion into the white cube.
